A Text Book of Computer Science
After getting success for the Text book on Computer Science Std. XII, the demand for Text book for Std XI is increasing from all sides. Also I fell that a true justification to the XII book can be made only after writing a book for XI. Writing a book for XII itself is not sufficient since course of XI and XII are integreated with each other.
Now I am putting here with a book on Computer Science This book is prepared as per new syllabus prepared by Board. It covers all the basic requirements of studies in Computer Science. There are two papers. The first paper consist of five topics and second contains four.
The first topic is Number system and binary arithmetic. Here we understand different number systems, ASCII and BCD code and binary number operations. The second topic, Program Analysis, prepares logic capabilities of students. Algorithms and flow charting examples are given in this chapter.
The third topic is introduction to C++. Keywords, operators, control structures and functions are covered in detail. While writing this topic I have used my workout for the book of "Gateway of C++".
The forth one is on Visual Basic. The features of Visual Basic along with simple projects are given. The fifth chapter is on Introduction to Networking and Internet. Concepts of LAN, WAN and terms like E- nail, FTP, WWW are explained
